Software Engineering is a much demanded profession in the industry, as well as a rapidly evolving field of knowledge and experience. Therefore, effective and comprehensive software engineering education is a crucial issue, which requires the introduction and deployment of modern education methods, such as MOOC courses, adaptive learning and activation, gamification and more.

As part of this effort, a German-Israeli cooperation has been established in the last couple of years, which, among other topics, promotes joint research.

The workshop intends to bring together research students to share ideas, insights and results regarding Software Engineering Education and related topics. Speakers should be higher-degree (Master's, Doctor's) students who are active in research in relevant topics. Presented work can be at any stage of the research: Conceptual approaches, proposed methods, research tools, partial results or final conclusions.
